RTC-Test

Helios is "Mainswitch" and "CANSwitch" combined with some features added:
  • RTC
  • 12V VBUS (optional)
  • 4 PWM channels
  • Avoid reduction of LED count

Driver board

  • One board has 51,24W with the warm LEDs. With LDB350 in general max. 52,8 Watt.
  • Supply voltage: 9V-36V
  • PWM: 100 ~ 1KHz; 2~10VDC or open circuit
  • Usage of LDB-350/LDB-300: Output 2 ~ 40VDC
  • 5V I2C Bus

Controller board

  • Supply voltage: 5V-60V (min/max 9V/36V when power is routed to driver board with LDB-350L; min. 12V for VBus 12V)
  • Provides VBus 5V or 12V (optional, can be powered externally)
  • Switch 4 power lines
    • [VBus, Plant lamp, Media, illumination] or [VBus, Plant lamp, 2 x Illumination]; VBus can be on of the illumination supplies
  • Can start via RTC or Button
  • Measure power consumption
  • 4 PWM signals for regulator board(s)
  • External I2C bus for regulator board(s)
  • USB port for configuration
  • 3 CAN connectors to have it somwhere in the middle of the bus + Display or to have 5V+12V bus

Errata

  • There is only one global 'Enable' line. Not a big deal, the power supplies can be switched off anyways. None would also work. Usecase is when Controller board has same power supply as Driver boards, it can disable drivers when it only wants to feed VBUS.
